Seventh-day Adventists Denounce
Their OWN Health Message as Quackery!

DeWitt Williams did not respond to my letter of May 28, 2002, which was a response to his letter of April 15, 2002. Instead, he and the entire leadership of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) denomination at their World Headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland issued a press release on June 25, 2002, that publicly and arrogantly denounced and rejected God’s Ten Step Natural Health Plan (of which “diet” is only ONE of the ten parts) by declaring it Quackery! The EXACT health message upon which their denomination was founded they have now denounced as Quackery!

In essence, the Seventh-day Adventist leaders have publicly announced: “We adamantly reject God’s way of healing and we will continue to treat disease MAN’S way, with drugs and surgery. We will follow MAN and NOT God. We will follow Baal and NOT Jesus Christ!”

In His Word, God has clearly stated what will happen to those who reject truth:

• “Because they received not the love of the truth…for this cause God shall send them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth…” (2 Thess 2:10-12)

Within three weeks of the date that the SDA General Conference leaders issued their press release, publicly turning their back on God’s Health Message, the General Conference announced that two major leaders in the denomination had cancer, a Vice President of the General Conference and a world-renowned Seventh-day Adventist surgeon.

The General Conference leaders asked for prayers from members around the world for these two people. But neither of these men can be permanently well unless they follow God’s Ten Natural Laws of Health, a violation of which is the REAL cause of their cancer. Cancer cannot be cut out - or burned out - or poisoned out. Cancer is caused by the way we eat and the way we live. And that is where it must be addressed in order to reverse it. If one continues to eat and live as he or she always has, the cancer will return. One must dramatically change the way he is eating and living in order to reverse the cancer or to prevent its return.

All disease, including cancer, begins as a Spiritual problem, because we want to live and eat OUR way rather than living and eating GOD’S way. Cancer, and all other disease, begins “in the heart,” in our desire to run our own life rather than letting God run our life. Because disease begins “in the heart,” THAT is where it must be addressed. Until we WANT to live and eat God’s way, we will never be able to be truly well.

However, the SDA world leaders do not realize that by rejecting the very same message that can make these two men well, and thousands of other Adventist church members like them, they are bringing their own retribution upon themselves. They are descending further into darkness. They are reaping what they have sown. As long as they follow the plan of the world, man’s way of treating disease – rather than God’s way, they will not be able to have God’s blessing of healing.

DeWitt Williams AND the entire Seventh-day Adventist Church structure have publicly and openly rejected truth. This is a dangerous path to follow. Choosing man’s way over God’s way is the essence of the Mark of the Beast, the Mark of Babylon. The church will plunge further into darkness. Now there will be an increasingly devastating scourge of disease and death in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

“God will not be mocked. Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.” (Gal. 6:7)

If God’s Natural Way of Healing is rejected and the Adversary’s methods are embraced, including: destructive radiation, poisonous chemotherapy and mutilating surgery, then the Adversary is in control of the individual’s treatment regimen because the Bible clearly defines drug medications (pharmacy/pharmakeia in the Greek) as sorceries and witchcraft. In Revelation 18:23, God tells us how the wicked One World Government (symbolized by “Babylon”) will deceive the whole world:

• “. . . for by their sorceries (pharmakeia in the Greek = drug medications) were ALL nations deceived.”

We know that “No man can serve two masters” (Matt 6:24). If Baal, the Adversary (MAN’S way), is chosen as master instead of God, the Bible tells us what the outcome will be.

Here are two ominous examples:

1) Ahaziah, King of Israel (Samaria) had sustained a severe injury and was sick in his bed. He sent for his messengers, saying to them, “Go and consult Baalzebub, the god of Ekron to see if I will recover.”

• “But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Go up and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them: ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going off to consult Baalzebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore this is what the Lord says; You will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!” 2 Kings 1:1-4

• “Then the angel of the Lord said to Elijah, ‘Go down’ (to the king). So Elijah got up and went down to the king. He told the king, ‘This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel that you have sent messengers to consult Baalzebub, the god of Ekron? Because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!’

• “So he died, according to the word of the Lord that Elijah had spoken.”
  2 Kings 1:17

2) “In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa (King of Judah) was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the Lord, but from the physicians. Then . . . Asa died.” 2 Chronicles 16:12

It is interesting to note that a number of the Bible translations, including the New International Version (NIV), have changed this text to say,

• “. . . he (Asa) did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians.”

The translators clearly want to imply that God approves of seeking help from “man” (from doctors) as long as God is asked to “bless the doctor.” But God doesn’t need help from doctors to treat disease. God does it all by Himself. He tells us in Psalm 103:3;

• “. . .He forgives ALL our sins and heals ALL our diseases.”

And in Deuteronomy 7:11-15, God tells us HOW He heals ALL our diseases:

• “If you obey My laws, My commandments, and My decrees . . . I WILL keep you free from EVERY disease.”

Remember, when Jesus was on earth He never sent anyone to a doctor, not even to Luke, the physician. When sick people came to Jesus for healing, Jesus healed them HIMSELF - - - and He did it, 1) by natural methods (clay, water, etc.) or, 2) by His Word.

And that is the way Jesus heals today, 1) by natural methods – by the Ten Step Plan that contains ONLY the things that God has created, in their most natural form, and 2) by His Word – by daily, diligent studying of the Bible, God’s Word, to learn the way God wants us to live and eat.

But now Darkness will envelop the SDA denomination

Now that the Seventh-day Adventist denominational leaders have rejected the health message on which their denomination was founded, and have declared this same health message “Quackery,” their minds will be darkened and they will not be able to understand truth. And Jesus speaks very strong words against church leaders who mislead their congregations, both when He was on earth, and now.

Now the Seventh-day Adventist denomination will rapidly fall into greater apostasy, and the number of members with severe diseases will increase dramatically. And neither the leaders nor the members will be able to understand how to get well God’s way.

Even those at the top, including those individuals who participated in this rejection of the Health message, when they get sick, they will turn to “man’s” way – to the doctors, to drug medications (pharmakeia – sorceries and witchcraft according to God), to chemotherapy and radiation, ALL methods that destroy the wonderful immune system that God has given us to keep us well. The majority will die in ignorance because they have forfeited the ability to discern truth - - - because they REJECTED truth!

Seventh-day Adventist General Conference Press Release

Below is the Seventh-day Adventist General Conference Headquarters Press Release, rejecting God’s Natural Health Plan. The Press Release occurred on June 25, 2002, just four weeks after my response - on May 28, 2002, to DeWitt Williams letter to me dated April 15, 2002. You will see by the chronology (April 15 – May 28 – June 25) that this Press Release is in direct response to my letter to DeWitt Williams.

Furthermore, in the first five paragraphs of the Press Release, they specifically describe me, Dr. Lorraine Day, but they are careful to avoid mentioning me by name in an obvious attempt to avoid being sued for libel.

In the Press Release they describe me in the following way:

1. “what may seem like persuasive anecdotal evidence” (in Paragraph 2)
2. “that a ‘natural cancer treatment’ has worked” (in Paragraph 2)
3. “following a special diet regime can cure cancer” (in Paragraph 2) (The regime is NOT just a diet – it includes TEN steps. “Diet” is only one of the ten steps.)
4. “There are people out there who are persuasive speakers” (Paragraph 5)
5. “who appear to know medicine” (Paragraph 5)
6. “They. . . go on shows like Oprah Winfrey and 60 Minutes” (Paragraph 5)

These six descriptions taken together could apply to no on else but me, Dr. Lorraine Day.

Then, in the Press Release, DeWitt Williams and the Seventh-day Adventist leaders encourage the reader to consult the web site of Stephen Barrett, a psychiatrist who has spent his career giving out drug medications to mental patients, who is antagonistic to God’s Natural Health Plan for healing and to its originator, Jesus Christ and the New Testament, and who has made a life work of attacking all those who believe in Natural Healing, calling them frauds and quacks. He is a member of a shameful organization called the National Council Against Health Fraud (NCAHF), an organization associated with the pharmaceutical companies and the Medical/Industrial complex with the sole mission of destroying ALL practitioners of Alternative Medicine and Natural Healing.

Barrett, through his membership in the NCAHF, has been associated with a covertly initiated “Strike Force” of the FDA that has been illegally sheltered and given free space by Loma Linda University (according to James P. Carter, M.D., D. Ph., author of Racketeering in Medicine, page 3 ). This “Strike Force” has worked to destroy all types of true Natural Healing at Loma Linda University Medical School and other medical schools in America.

Interestingly, a sinister web is found in this organization, the NCAHF. Stephen Barrett is a member, as is William Jarvis, Barrett’s co-author of a book on Alternative Medicine, a book that can be described as nothing more than a vicious diatribe against all natural medicine. William Jarvis was the Director of the School of Public Health at Loma Linda University Medical School, that is, until he ordered an internationally known Alternative Physician, Julian Whitaker, M.D., out of the auditorium at a Loma Linda University medical conference. Jarvis ordered Dr. Whitaker removed by campus police and then had him surrounded by attack dogs!

What was Dr. Whitaker’s crime? He had the “audacity” to refute the lies being told by William Jarvis against another Alternative Physician, Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski. Subsequently, William Jarvis was no longer employed by Loma Linda University (LLU), but I believe his presence there is still strongly felt.

Why do I say this? In my visit with Ray Cress, the pharmacologist who signed the libelous letter about me, saying that I had never had cancer, Cress seemed almost ignorant of the content of the letter about me that bore his signature. Initially, this was confusing to me. But during our conversation, I asked him if he was a member of the NCAHF (National Council Against Health Fraud) and he responded, “Yes.”

With that information, I concluded that it is highly likely that Stephen Barrett and William Jarvis got together to write this libelous letter about me, then, because Jarvis was no longer a member of the Loma Linda faculty and could not legitimately use Loma Linda University stationery, they persuaded Ray Cress to use his standing as a member of the faculty, to sign the letter on official LLU stationery. There we have the most probable chain, a sinister chain: Barrett – Jarvis – Cress!

Incidentally, what is now known as Loma Linda University School of Medicine was founded as the College of Medical Evangelists (CME) by the Seventh-day Adventist denomination, on the EXACT principles of the Ten Step Plan that I used to get well from what was diagnosed as terminal cancer. I repeat, Loma Linda University School of Medicine was founded on the EXACT principles that the Seventh-day Adventist leaders are now disowning, throwing overboard, and calling “Quackery!”

What a tragedy! What Judgment they will bring upon themselves and their entire Seventh-day Adventist denomination. “God will not be mocked. Whatever a man (or a denomination) sows, that shall he (they) also reap.” Galatians 6:7
